About the Luminous Collaborative
The Luminous Collaborative is a group practice integrating medical and therapeutic expertise for ketamine-assisted therapy retreats and intensive programs. Our team brings together a physician with 30 years experience in internal medicine, palliative care, and medical ethics, alongside two psychotherapists with deep expertise in trauma recovery, grief processing, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. All three practitioners are trained in ketamine-assisted therapy and grounded in somatic practices and mindfulness, creating a uniquely integrated approach where medical safety, therapeutic depth, and embodied wisdom work together. We weave together evidence-based therapies, somatic modalities, yoga, mindfulness, and creative expression to form safe containers for transformative healing. We honor the wisdom of both body and mind, guiding individuals and groups toward greater wholeness, resilience, and connection to their inner light.
Dr. Rachel Lovins, MD Rachel Lovins is an internist, palliative care specialist and educator. She brings her expertise as a physician, personal coach, physician executive, and death doula to her work. She is dedicated to providing non-judgmental, compassionate, whole-person care, and the relief of total suffering.
Dr. Alison Rhodes PhD, LICSW, EdM Alison M. Rhodes, PhD, LICSW, EdM is a psychotherapist and ketamine assisted therapist specializing in healing after trauma. She draws primarily from Internal Family Systems therapy, EMDR, and narrative therapy. She also brings over 25 years of practicing and teaching yoga into her therapeutic work. Her practice is founded on the principle that when we meet our inner wounds with kindness and presence, healing naturally unfolds.
Maggie Jarmolowski, LICSW Maggie Jarmolowski, LICSW is a trauma specialist and facilitator. With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, she draws on IFS, EMDR, and somatic approaches to help people access deep self-trust and lasting transformation. She’s especially drawn to ketamine assisted therapy for its ability to untangle long-held patterns and invite clarity, softness, and courage to the places we struggled to touch.

Our day together weaves gentle movement and meditation, supportive community, and the expansive inner space opened by ketamine-assisted therapy. In this quiet time of winter, we will explore how to meet the darkness with honesty and courage, and how to kindle the small, steady flame within that will carry us forward into the new year.

Who This Intensive Is For
This daylong retreat is open to adults of all ages and genders who are seeking reflection, inner spaciousness, and meaningful connection. To support emotional safety for everyone, this retreat isn’t suitable for those currently experiencing psychosis or significant psychiatric instability. People with trauma histories are absolutely welcome. At the same time, this gathering is not designed for working with recent or overwhelming trauma memories. If you are hoping to engage in trauma processing, we would be glad to talk with you about settings that can offer the depth of support that work requires.
Cost $800 + Medical evaluation fee* (*Evaluation may be reimbursable by insurance. Cost is $50 for returning clients / $150 new clients. Please contact us for information about a Sliding Scale)
